Project Requirement

The client required a large-format outdoor LED display at the entrance of its headquarters in Sungai Jawi, Penang.

The display was intended to provide strong visual visibility for corporate branding, company announcements and advertising content.

As the screen is installed outdoors, the solution needed to remain clear and highly visible under daylight conditions while providing effective viewing from medium-to-long distances.

Our Solution

LEDSCREEN.ASIA supplied and installed an 8.64m × 4.80m P5 SMD outdoor LED display for Conwall Construction Industries Sdn. Bhd. in Sungai Jawi, Penang.

The LED display has a resolution of 1728 × 960 pixels and a total display area of approximately 41.47 m².

The system uses 960 × 960 mm outdoor LED cabinets, 320 × 160 mm LED modules and a Colorlight control system.

A dedicated supporting structure together with concrete works was provided for the outdoor LED display installation.

The system was configured, tested and commissioned as part of the complete project delivery.

Installation Details

The installation included concrete works for the LED display supporting structure, installation of the outdoor LED screen system, system configuration, testing and commissioning.

The completed display consists of:

45 LED cabinets
9 cabinets across
5 cabinets high
810 LED modules
1,658,880 total pixels

User training and maintenance support were also included as part of the project scope.
