Project Requirement

The customer required a large-format outdoor LED display capable of delivering clear visual content to traffic approaching from both directions. A V-shaped dual-sided display configuration was selected to improve visibility for vehicles travelling in both directions.

The installation site at ILSM Sungkai required an outdoor LED display suitable for government and public content, with sufficient brightness for daylight visibility in an outdoor environment.

Our Solution

LEDSCREEN.ASIA supplied and installed a P4 V-shaped dual-sided outdoor LED display at ILSM (Institut Latihan Statistik Malaysia) Sungkai, Perak.

The display consists of two LED faces arranged in a V-shaped configuration, each measuring 5.76m × 2.88m. Each face has a resolution of 1,440 × 720 pixels and a display area of approximately 16.59 m², giving a total display area of approximately 33.18 m² across both faces.

The system uses SMD LED technology with a brightness of 6,500 nits, a Colorlight control system, and a mixed cabinet configuration using 640 × 640mm full-size cabinets and half-height cabinets.

The V-shaped outdoor metal structure allows the two display faces to point in different directions for improved traffic visibility.

Installation Details

The installation included the V-shaped outdoor metal structure, mounting of the dual-sided LED display system, system configuration, testing and commissioning.

The completed display consists of:

Completed Result

The completed V-shaped dual-sided outdoor LED display supports advertising, event content and public visual communication. The two display faces are positioned to improve visibility for traffic travelling in both directions.

The display provides a high-brightness outdoor digital platform for government and public content at ILSM Sungkai.
